Christmas 2019 – Giftware & Serving
This Christmas we wanted to share what’s best to use around the table with the amazing amount of serving ware we have available along with clever gifts that are here for the long term.
Let’s start with Rose & Tulipani who have a large selection of dinner and serving ware especially for occasions. If you’re looking to jazz up the dinner and renew some crockery then this is the go-to brand. Everyone talks about the Concerto
range because it has 10 different colour ways allowing anyone to find a perfect colour for their kitchen. However when looking for serving items it may be worth checking out the Melamine
range. This range has 6 different prints with beautiful eye-catching patterns which act great as a gifting product or simply use them every year for the festive season. Since they’re reinforced with melamine, the soup plates and platters are easy to pass around the table and dishwasher proof! - See all the patterns below with gloss finishes.
The Sagaform Carafe
’s are a popular gifting product and elegant bottle for serving oil, vinegar or wine. It makes a real difference if you get creative and serve your favourite beverages using this carafe. The containers are made out of glass so the dinner table is naturally brightened by the refreshments stored inside. The top neck of the carafe is wide enough to make it particularly easy to clean instead of getting oil trapped in the mouth of the bottle.
A serving tray is an essential item to have at Christmas time, so why not grab one that can last you a while. If your kitchen is inspired by Scandinavian design then a Nordic Kitchen Serving Tray
from Eva Solo would be the perfect touch. The base is made of oak wood which is strong enough to hold coffees and hot meals. As the wood is a natural material be sure to oil it regularly and sand the surface with abrasive paper.
Cookut are well known for clever items and this one is super practical and beneficial to our planet. The LUMI
is designed for serving melting cheese or chocolate but doesn’t require any electricity or gas to function. Simply add a tealight in the base and place your cheese on the mini frying pan. These come in a set of 2 and yes, they are gift boxed!
The final serving item we wanted to share is for condiments and that’s the ‘Triple Treat
’ from Zuperzozial. These are currently available in the Dawn colour ways including powder blue and coconut white. It comes equipped with a tray and sized well for raspberries, pistachios and even vegetables for kids. Made with the environment in mind, the bamboo and corn materials give it a lightweight feel and degrade after 3 years of being disposed.
Gifting – all items are gift boxed

The glass ware from Root7
are proving to be successful gifting items. Root7 have designed drinking glasses for common alcoholic beverages like prosecco, martini and gin. There’s an option for everyone and it doesn’t have to be a gift – if you’re someone who often organises gatherings then it’d be worth showing off your cocktail-making skills in black and gold or rainbow tinted glasses.
Christmas is a season for kids and the easiest people to find a gift for. It’s not always easy to find children’s tableware that’s a decent size and unbreakable but Zuperzozial have a full dinner set made of bamboo and corn. The Hungry Kids Set
include a dinner plate, soup bowl and cup in several animal prints. All bamboo and corn products from Zuperzozial are enforced with melamine resin so they can survive in the dishwasher and start to degrade after 3 years.
