The shape of the glass means that the volatised aroma molecules collect so they are more concentrated when they hit the nose. This optimises the taste experience, and allows the subtleties of the flavours and aromas to unfold. The liquor glass has been developed for different types of spirits, aperitifs and fortified wines such as rum, gin, calvados and sherry.
