In April 2015, Simon Maghnagi – Business Development Manager at Forma House, will run the London Marathon in Support of CRISIS and their work to turn around the lives of homeless people through education and employment. Here he talks about the motivation behind this huge challenge…
 
‘I had always wanted to do something for the homeless over Christmas and back in 2008 I discovered the incredible work of CRISIS. I signed up as a volunteer for five days and it proved such a rewarding experience, that I have done so ever since. To know that in a small way, I am doing something to benefit others is an amazing feeling. And this year I have decided to take things a step further, by volunteering to run the marathon for CRISIS – all 26.2 miles of it!’
 
So far Simon has raised nearly £750 of his £2000+ target and is inviting family, friends, the homewares industry and visitors to our website to support him in his mission on Sun 26th April.

Simon and the Forma Team also took the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for CRISIS at the recent HOME trade show in London. Supported by the show organisers, the Forma team talked to buyers about Simon’s marathon run and the work of CRISIS in general. Simon Commented…
