Forma House - CONDITIONS OF SALE


GENERAL:

All quotations are made and orders accepted and executed on the understanding that the Purchaser is bound by the Conditions of Sale.

GUARANTEE:

Guzzini products are of the highest quality and will stand up to years of normal use. Please note that we are only liable to replace the item, and under no circumstances can we accept liability for damages and out of pocket expenses of any kind arising from use of the products. Acrylic is best hand washed to preserve quality and duration. If Guzzini products are placed in a dishwasher, it should be only on the top shelf at a temperature not exceeding 60ºC. However, we are unable to guarantee their safety, and in general do not recommend it. We will not replace products worn by dishwasher usage.

DESPATCH:

All orders will be processed within 24 hours and despatched from our warehouse within 3-5 working days unless a product is out of stock or unavailable due to production difficulties. In any of the latter incidences we will notify you in writing at the earliest opportunity and cancel your order with a full refund if required. Any times quoted for despatch are given and intended as estimates only and the Company shall not be liable for any loss for failure to deliver or despatch within these times. All Legnoart kitchen trollies have a 6-8 week lead-time and National holiday periods may also affect delivery schedule.

DELIVERY:

Under no circumstances can the Company accept liability for alleged non-delivery if a third party signature has been obtained.

PACKING, HANDLING & DELIVERY CHARGES

(UK MAINLAND ONLY):Standard delivery charge to any UK destination is £5.25 (up to 15kg max). Above this weight an additional surcharge will be made to meet individual requirements. Delivery outside the UK will be subjected to an additional surcharge and advised in writing. All kitchen trolley deliveries will be subject to an additional surcharge. Please e-mail us in advance of ordering for a quote if you require.

LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT:

Goods should be checked on receipt or be signed for as ‘unexamined’ and if cartons or external packaging shows signs of damage, they should be signed for as ‘received damaged’. Claims for shortages or damaged in transit should be notified in writing to Forma House within three days of receipt and in the case of non-delivery, within ten days of the date of invoice. Regrettably, claims not signed for as “received damaged” or not notified to us within this period CANNOT BE ACCEPTED as we are unable to claim from either the carrier or the insurance.


CANCELLATION AND RETURNS:

The written consent of the Company must be obtained before cancellation of any order is accepted. The Company reserves the right to charge for costs involved in accepting the cancellation. Goods may not be returned without the Company’s written consent and without the Company’s return form. Where permission for the return of goods is given a handling charge plus any carriage charge involved will be made. Goods should be returned carriage paid to our warehouse in good resaleable condition with its original packing. All items regarded as faulty must be reported to Forma House at the earliest opportunity. Electrical items have a two-year guarantee from the point of purchase and non-electrical items a one-year guarantee unless otherwise specified. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
